DARVO is a manipulation tactic where an abuser uses Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender to avoid accountability. The perpetrator denies the abuse, attacks the victim’s credibility, and then claims they were the one wronged, shifting the blame and putting the victim in the position of the offender.
