about

dashing in the dark is for those seeking unseen clarity and liberation from undisclosed distortion.

The term “shaman” translates to “one who sees in the dark” in the Siberian Tungus culture, which refers to the ability to navigate unseen spiritual realms and perceive hidden truths. Shamans bridge the physical world with the spirit world to gain wisdom, heal, and perceive beyond the physical.

I’m kimberlee kruse, a shamanic visual storyteller, certified Reiki practitioner, psychological defense coach, and mirror catalyst shadow worker who finds herself unraveling the roots in the deep cracks.

I felt called down a path in energy work years ago, recognizing I’m a highly sensitive person (HSP) and prefer holistic medicine myself. I was further drawn into energy work after experiencing aggressive and persistent psychic attacks and siphoning, which thankfully provided me with knowledge and experience, while also recognizing my part in it all. Reiki is an ancient energy work technique to safely promote calmness and balance. I specialize in helping restore life force and clearing out blockages. I can also tell you if an individual is draining your life force so you can take prepatory measures to set boundaries to protect yourself.

Energy work addresses soul fragmentation by locating, clearing, and returning missing pieces to restore wholeness, which is commonly caused by external trauma, unhealthy dynamics, and siphoning.

As a mirror catalyst shadow worker, and psychological defense coach, I utilize my neurodivergent depth of processing and pattern recognition to help identify recurring behaviors, emotions, and relational dynamics, enabling others to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and uncover underlying issues they may not be fully aware of — connecting past experiences with present ones to foster breakthroughs. As a mirror catalyst shadow worker, I help to activate — not from consumption but by providing newfound insights.

I don’t identify shamans as chosen titles from the community or self; I believe it’s simply DNA activation from the universe to work with Source.

There’s a belief that shamans don’t get formally taught in a classroom — they get initiated by spirit and taught by experience. I agree with this based on my personal journey. A couple of years ago, I got initiated by my great-grandfather whilst I was in the dusty midst of being buried alive — a typical shamanic initiation. Although he studied engineering and served in the police department in the matrix, I was told he was a sleeping shaman too, which ultimately revealed the generational curse and gifts I carry of his. He is one of the many faces of reindeer dashing in the dark with me to help piece together my case, his case, and many others. We were meant to stay strung along, fooled and confused, dashing around with our souls cut off while being silently sacrificed. A shaman’s role is not to be a sacrifice or savior, but an ancient guardian that maintains wholeness.
